The story follows a man in his 40’s who on the outside has everything that any one would want. A great job, nice car, perfect family. However on the inside it is a different story. The man has been dealing with trauma that has been plaguing him since a child. These are issues that have sat with him for years and now they have begun to bubble over. The man is at the breaking point, and is now contemplating suicide.

Young Kenza hovers in-between their two worlds. Feeling a growing urge to talk about the absence of her mother who passed away a long time ago, she cannot seem to find comfort anymore in the down-to-earth and avoidant mentality of her father. As Kenza starts to encounter circumstances that transcend reality, she slowly becomes more receptive to the mystical traditions of her grandfather. She decides to ignore being argus-eyed by her father, so to make way for her own path into adult life and to help her grandfather with his passing to the world of spirits.
