Logline: A story of inheritance and false teeth. The film is a generational tale of an hilarious family drama, surrounding a suspiciously damaged burglar bar located on the side of the Morris family home. We witness the recollection of events from the perspectives of the inheritor grandson (narrator) and the elusive grandfather, affectionately known as Cold Rice. The film transports us to the past, where we unfold the mystery of this “mash up grill” during an absurd rum bar exchange between Cold Rice and his loyal yet nosy drinking companion, Byron. The sweet rum lowers all guards and loosens all lips leading to Cold Rice unintentionally airing out his business. Furthermore, not only did we learn about Cold Rice’s marital frustrations with estranged wife Shirley but we find out that this suspicious grill was one casualty from a chaotic night of hard drinking . Let’s just say that after that night, Cold Rice’s sense of taste might slightly little altered.
