Closing Night: The Human Condition

Ayesha, is a young mixed race British girl on a journey to find out the truth about what Notting Hill Carnival really represents. From its genesis out of the 1958 race riots and a young mans murder, to its contemporary perception as a Carnival of violence, Ayesha discovers that this vibrant, colourful carnival, represents something much deeper in British History.

An absent mother returns to visit her young daughter. This is a testing time for Rochelle, she has to prove she has moved on from her wild and dangerous past in order to keep her ties to her daughter and build a future for both of them, together.
