Canada is brimming with talent. And our team is no exception. Comprised of some 200 professionals passionate about Canadian content, we work to finance, develop, and promote the Canadian audiovisual industry of today and tomorrow.

Built over 20 years, The CaribbeanTales Media Group is the only media group in Canada that provides an ecosystem of screen-based activities that serve Black Canadian, and culturally diverse audiences. CTMG is Black-owned, staffed and controlled. Our Board leadership and staff are mainly Black and are culturally diverse. CTMG provides a pipeline of activities from creation to distribution that aims to uplift, enrich, promote and monetize Black and culturally diverse film and television content for audiences.

The Department of Canadian Heritage and its Portfolio organizations play a vital role in the cultural, civic and economic life of Canadians. Our policies and programs promote an environment where Canadians can experience dynamic cultural expressions, celebrate our history and heritage and build strong communities. The Department invests in the future by supporting the arts, our official and Indigenous languages, multiculturalism and our athletes and the sport system.

Toronto Arts Council (TAC) is Toronto’s city-wide public funding body for the arts. Created in 1974 to enhance the quality of life in Toronto through the arts, our accessible programs support a diversity of artists and arts organizations to explore, create, and connect with a wide range of audiences and communities. Led by artists, for artists, our peer review process puts community at the heart of its work. With City of Toronto investment of approximately $25 million annually, our grants lead to festivals, exhibitions, performances, readings, workshops, and other arts experiences enjoyed by over five million people across the city each year.
